A wannabe mathematician

I am currently a PhD student in mathematics, specializing in probability theory/stochastic analysis. This site was originally to support my own study and my teaching at my university. However, as I wrap up my PhD, I have left my assistantship and taken a job as a Risk Quant at a national bank. So, in addition to exploring more academic material, I will also be posting about applications and all things Quant-y, as I learn them.
